Mission
The Civil Engineering Graduate Student Association (CEGSA) represents and advocates for the collective
interests of Civil Engineering graduate students in all matters of departmental policy and action at York
University. The CEGSA seeks to build community among the graduate students, faculty, and others at
the university, with consideration for diverse experiences and interests. Above all, the CEGSA works to
optimize the environment within which graduate students develop, both professionally and personally.

Membership Benefits
All currently registered graduate students in a Civil Engineering program at York University (full-time and
part-time) are members of the CEGSA. Members benefit from the advocacy and support of their elected
executive members, as well as from activities hosted and supported by the CEGSA. Additionally, by
engaging with the CEGSA on the Connect.Lassonde platform, members have access to the full library of
resources and updates and resources developed by the CEGSA.

Mission
Computing Students Hub, abbreviated as CSHub, is a club that serves to promote undergraduate students in the programs of study: Computer Science, Digital Media, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering, as well as students in other programs with interest in computer science. As such, the club exists as a platform that represents students to the Faculty and the University, as well as a platform that encourages cooperation and communication between students.

Our main activities as a club:
Organize workshops on topics such as learning a programming language, some technology tools, or other computer science topics.
Form teams to compete in inter-school computer science competitions.

The Lassonde Engineering Society (LES) is a student run organization that represents engineering undergraduates in the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University. LES is governed by a student-elected Board of Directors that consists of 8 Executives, 7 Program Reps, 3 Associate Vice-Presidents and 4 First Year Representatives. We also run various committees that are integral to carry out various initiatives on behalf of our engineering student members.

At LES, our mission is to provide services that enriches their engineering experience, as well as advocate on behalf of the student population to the faculty, school and our external partners. Throughout the year, we host various academic, social and professional development events. Our events portfolio ranges from pub nights, to the largest engineering competition in Canada, the York Engineering Competition.

We are a proud member of the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students (CFES) as well as the Engineering Student Societies' Council of Ontario (ESSCO). These organizations represent the interests of engineering societies provincially and nationally, as well as provide an opportunities for engineering students across Canada to connect and collaborate.

Lassonde Motorsports is the Formula SAE team of Lassonde School of Engineering at York University.

We are a multidisciplinary team of passionate students designing and building a racecar that will be the pride of York University. Being a new engineering school, Lassonde distinguishes itself from others by going beyond the traditional curriculum. Similarly, we at Lassonde Motorsports are eager to go beyond the ordinary in student-designed race cars. As "renaissance engineers", we are keen to innovate, learn and think differently. We carry a unique social consciousness and a strong entrepreneurial mindset. We are building strong foundations for a team that will compete in the years to come.

The objective of this club is to prepare students for careers in the space industry through experiential learning.

The Lassonde Satellite Club is the York University representative for the bi-annual Canadian Satellite Design Competition. This club provides students of all disciplines an opportunity to develop hands on technical skills. Members will learn how to design, prototype, test, and assemble a cubesat. Students will get experience working in software, RF communications, mechanical, electrical, and ACS teams. LASSAT is an open learning environment for students of all skill levels and backgrounds.
